Sophie's Birthday Party

Last Saturday Sophie had her birthday at Chuck E Cheese. This was her first real party. In the past we've always just had cupcakes at the house. This year she wanted Chuck E Cheese. We had the party at 10 a.m. which was perfect because the place wasn't crowded yet. Instead of cupcakes we had smiley face iced cookies from Buskens (Sophie loves smiley faces). Chuck E Cheese is great for parties because all the kids are contained and they can run around playing different games. And it's good for us because the kids don't trash our house! We ordered pizza, breadsticks and drinks, and bought 300 tokens for everyone. Sophie invited 5 children, which was a nice, small number.

For presents she received a turtle necklace, Dora The Explorer beach bag filled with a towel, mat and water bottle, Littlest Pet Shop animals, and lots of Ni Hao Kai-Lan stuff. She loved all of the presents.
