Yesterday was a slow, dull day. Work was so slow. I think that out of the 8 hours I worked, I surfed the net for 6 of those hours. No joke. Monday was super busy because the gas bills were due so everyone paid their bills on Monday. To give you an idea of how slow yesterday was...on Monday there were over 100 payments in our overnight box. Yesterday there were only 3 payments in our drop box. The office manager was out of the office for most of the day, and there was nothing else to do, so I just surfed the net. If there was worked that needed to be done, I'd do it, but there was nothing to do.
Today both girls were home with me. We slept in until 9, then watched a little tv in the morning and I took them to Arby's for lunch. Arby's is Sophie's favorite fast-food place. She eats a junior roast beef, but only the beef- not the bun. She calls the roast beef "ham." Kylie likes the curly fries, so between the roast beef and the fries they had a good time. Kylie found a quarter on the seat and was so excited. Within 5 minutes she lost it, so when she wasn't looking I dug a quarter out of my purse and pretended like I found her quarter. When we got home she found the original quarter in her pocket so she now had 2 quarters. I was waiting for her to question how she had two, but luckily she didn't.
We went to tae kwon do and by the time we got home at 6:30 everyone was hungry. I made chicken breast, mashed potato with gravy and corn. Even Sophie ate a lot.
After dinner we went to the grocery store, then gave the girls a bath and then bed. A rather uneventful day. Maybe tomorrow will be more exciting.
