Hubby's parents came last Saturday. They left Monday from Jamaica and Hubby drove them to the airport at 4:30 in the morning (while I was snuggled under the warm blankets- ha!). They will be in Jamaica for two weeks. They go every year, ever since Hubby and I got married in Jamaica in 2000. They picked a good time to be in Jamaica. It's bitter cold and snow on the ground. I can handle the snow, but it's the cold that I don't care for.
American Idol has started its new season and Big Sis is excited. Last year she really got into AI. To this day she still talks about Sanjaya and how she "wants to throw him in the garbage." To taunt her I have a photo of Sanjaya on our refrigerator door. Even Hubby gets into American Idol. Little Sis watched it with us on Tuesday and Wednesday but she was more thrilled about the popcorn we were eating. She could probably eat a whole bag if we let her.
Not much new around here. Same old, same old. Little Sis has become an expert at climbing on things she's not supposed to climb on...namely the stairs and the couch. Big Sis does a good job of keeping an eye out for it. If I'm in the kitchen making dinner and they are in the living room, I'll hear Big Sis say, "Mama, I got a new problem" and that means that Little Sis has gotten onto the couch. What scares me is that she has no fear. She will get on the couch, stand up and start jumping up and down. Yikes.
Cheap sunglasses provide hours of amusement.
Here's Big Sis showing off one of her many dolls named Lily.
Little Sis looks up to Big Sis, literally.
