On Tuesday Bog Sis had her last soccer class. We decided not to sign her up for another class, at least not for now. She's plenty busy with tae kwon do and gymnastics and just being a 4 year old! Perhaps at a later date.
Little Sis is doing fantastic. Each day I am amazed at how far she's come. On February 2nd it will be one year since we received her referral call. Hard to believe it's been a year. I remember it like it was yesterday.
Little Sis has been eating great lately. I've learned to put quite a bit of butter on her stuff (noodles, veggies, etc) to put on the weight. Little Sis has a sweet tooth and would like nothing more than to munch on apples and peaches, so I make sure she only gets fruit AFTER she eats the regular stuff like protein and veggies.
The early intervention specialist came by the other day for her monthly evaluation and she said that Little Sis is now at a 2.5 year old level! Pretty impressive since Little Sis doesn't turn 2 until April. I am so, so proud of Little Sis and all that she has accomplished. She's a feisty little thing!
Today Hubby's parents are coming for a visit, as is his brother and his 2 kids. Big Sis is excited and keeps asking me when they're getting here.
Well, gotta go clean the house before the in-laws arrive.
Little Sis being tickled by Mama
I like her expression in this photo ("C'mon Mama, hurry up & take the picture!")
