Friday is here finally. Little Sis decided to wake up at 6:30 this morning, screaming at the top of her lungs. Not sure exactly what was going on with that. Daddy decided to conveniently step into the bathroom to shower, so I was stuck getting Little Sis. I changed her diaper and gave her a bottle, but she was up for good.
Big Sis woke up around 8. I was still tired and fell back asleep on the living room floor. Luckily both girls were transfixed on a new episode of The Backyardigans. I'm glad I slept through that show. I find the Backyardigans to be almost on the same level of annoyingness as The Wiggles and Barney.
It was sunny but cold today. After their nap we were itching to go outside. Since it was so cold , we only played outside for 15 minutes but it was still nice to get some fresh air. Big Sis has a Dora The Explorer quad but Little Sis loves it. Since she's not big enough to ride it by herself, I have to ride it with Little Sis sitting on my lap. I wonder what the neighbors think when they see a 35 year old woman riding a kid's quad?!
After dinner I was going through Little Sis' closet and found several articles of clothing which are now too small for her. I almost got teary-eyed when I put them in the garage-sale pile. These were clothes that Big Sis wore 3 years ago. And now they don't fit Little Sis anymore. I have such fond memories of each piece of clothing. I'd love to keep them, but then I'd end up with a basement full of more plastic tubs. Time flies, doesn't it?

Promise me you will never put the Hanna Anderson "froggy pants" in the garage sale pile when Little Sis outgrows them. They bring back too many memories to be discarded. I can make a memory pillow out of them.
