Little Sis & The Potty- Round 1

Yesterday I decided it was time to get Little Sis acquainted with The Potty. We have several potties from when Big Sis was potty-training. We have one potty chair and the seat comes off and can fit on top of a regular toilet. We have a Dora the Explorer potty seat and and Elmo potty seat. And then there's the Royal Potty. It looks like a throne and has a laser so when the child does #1 it plays a song. The Royal Potty never worked for Big Sis. She would stick her hand in front of the laser so it would play the song.

Yesterday I got out the regular potty chair. At 21 months it's still a little early but I want Little Sis to be used to seeing it. Ever since we've been home from China Little Sis has been curious about the potty. She has always followed me into the bathroom and actually rips toilet paper off the roll and stuffs it between my legs when I'm on the toilet (I know, TMI!). She did well with the potty seat. She was very curious and kept walking over and sitting on it. She's not peeing in it yet, but I think she'll start in the next couple months.

Another new thing...Little Sis now wants her hair in a ponytail. Perhaps because I put Big Sis' hair in ponytails. Little Sis doesn't have much hair, so the result is that her ponytail resembles a pineapple. You can see Ms. Pineapple Head's hairdo in the photos below.

She loves playing with goofy hats

I love the pineapple hair!

Watching Elmo and lounging on Daddy's chair.

A comfy chair, Elmo on TV, and apple juice...life is good!

One sippy cup is good....

...but 2 is even better!
