Christmas 2010

Blogger is still giving me problems, not letting me post photos.

1. Christmas was fun this year, although this was the first year without my father. We had my stepmother out to the house Christmas Eve to spend the night.

2. Normally we spend Christmas Eve at my aunt's (my father's sister) house. She has a standing roast and garlic grits. It is really delicious. This year, for the first time, we were not invited. She told my stepmother (didn't even have the courtesy to tell us) that she was not doing dinner this year. It made me upset and angry, but oh well.

3. This year we had lasagna for Christmas Eve.

4. We didn't hang stockings this year, for fear that La-La would knock them down. We placed the stockings in front of the fireplace for Santa.

5. The girls woke up at 7:30 Christmas morning.

6. Kylie's favorite gift was a Lalaloopsy doll, which she told me she didn't want. Sophie wanted one, so I figured I better buy one for Kylie. Good thing, too-- she repeatedly told me it was her favorite gift.

7. La-La enjoyed the cans of tuna from Santa.

8. For breakfast we had scrambled eggs, sausage links, fresh pineapple and coffee cake. Sophie had three servings of eggs.

9. As I normally do, I took the tree down the following day.

10. All in all, a great Christmas.
