Little by Little.....

It has been one week since we moved...seems like a lifetime ago.

We're still getting settled. We had some setbacks, though. Both girls were sick over the weekend. 2 a.m. Sunday morning I rushed Sophie to urgent care. Her temperature was a little over 105! And that was after I had given her more Motrin. The doctor said she has a virus and it's going around and there's nothing you can do but stay hydrated and take Tylenol or Motrin.

Both girls are feeling better but now Steve and I are sick! I was so sick that I called in sick to work today. I feel weak, have chills, my body aches and I feel like I may faint. I dropped both girls at school today so I could rest.

The house is getting better, but there's still boxes scattered around. The painter's been sick so he hasn't finished painting. There are 24 cans of paint in our basement, plus various tools, rags, etc. I just want everything to be finished so we can feel like this is our house. Right now it doesn't. It feels like I'm staying at someone else's house. Will it ever feel like home?
