Chinese New Year

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year. It's sponsored by FCC (Families with Chinese Children). This year they had over 500 people attend! It was held at a high school across town. The last celebration we went to was in 2005 and it was at a smaller school back then, so it was neat to see how much this year improved. The food was awesome, they had dancers, a parade, a puppeteer, music. A really great time.

I have a lot of photos so I'll probably post them a little at a time. Here are just a few from today. There was a professional photographer there and I had Kylie pose. Unfortunately the photos she took didn't turn out very well. In the photos she had a forced, fake smile that just didn't look like her. So, I took some photos with my digital camera (and saved myself $60). I would have loved to buy some photos of her, but they just didn't look very good. I think I did a better job.
