Hoping

This morning we had someone look at our house. As usual I cleaned the house from top to bottom, took the cat to our neighbor's (who is in Florida right now, so it worked out well) and waited. Our neighbor lives in the condo next to our house, so we were able to see the people.

We saw them standing on our front porch for a few minutes. Steve went over to see if they needed help unlocking the door. It turns out their realtor forgot the code to the lockbox, so it's a good thing we were right next door.

The couple appeared to be in their late 20s/early 30s. They stayed for an hour! And then our realtor called in the afternoon. They want to bring their parents to see our house tomorrow at 11:30! I wish I didn't have my hopes up, but I do. I would love it if they would put in an offer tomorrow. Steve and I are excited, I just hope we don't get too disappointed if they decide not to make an offer.

Tonight after dinner we went to Home Depot. I feel like it is my second home now. We checked out tile. We're re-tiling the girls' bathroom floor. Steve's friend is going to do it. The tile in the shower is white tile with some royal blue tiles. I wasn't concerned with the shower tiles, it was the floor tiles that were hideous and need to be replaced, but Steve's friend said if I don't like the blue tiles in the shower he can remove them and we can pick out tile that we like. We found a really nice tile, it has browns and black in it and it looks like stone. We're going to have Steve's friend go to Home Depot with us next week to look at it and let us know if it will work.

I found a black vanity cabinet with a white marble sink at Lowes for $198, and found a toilet. We still need to buy the ceiling fans, kitchen light and living room light. So much to do, but we're making progress, little by little.
