Birdies & Pizza

Yesterday (Saturday) was cold, rainy and grey. We stayed in the entire day. I found a bag of feathers, some googly eyes and construction paper and the girls got busy.

First they made birds. Sophie's favorite color is orange so of course her bird had only orange feathers. Kylie made what she calls a "rainbow bird."

Then we made pizzas out of paper plates, red paint, shredded white paper, construction paper for the pepperonis and glue. Their favorite part was painting the sauce on the paper plates. I used a hair dryer to dry it quickly...they loved that part too.
