Tuesday

Last weekend was busy. Friday night after tae kwon do the girls and I went out to Pizza Hut with Lili and her parents for dinner (Steve in Tennessee). Saturday morning was cold and Kylie had her soccer game. I put a warm coat on Sophie but Kylie and I were both chilly. After naps on Saturday we went to the library where we ran into Jake (next door neighbor 3 year old boy) and also Mialani (Kylie's friend from school). Mialani and Kylie played in the library for awhile. After dinner we went to Jake's house and played.

Sunday morning I worked the nursery at our church for the 11 a.m. service. No kids showed up! So it was just me and Sophie in the room. I was a little irked because I had planned on going to my mom's over the weekend but cancelled it because I was scheduled to work the nursery. This was my 2nd time doing the nursery. The first time only 1 child showed up, and there were 2 of us working. I think I'm going to tell them I can't do it anymore.

After church we went out again with Lili and her parents and her grandma to a restaurant called Logan's Roadhouse. It was very good, huge portions and many selections on the menu. They give you buckets of peanuts at your table and you throw the shells on the floor. Kylie had never seen that before. As soon as we walked into the restaurant and she saw the floor, her eyes got very wide and she said, "What a messy place!" She loved it though, and ate a ton of peanuts along with her lunch.

Steve is home from Tennessee. This weekend we go to my mothers in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Tonight Kylie has soccer practice, then tae kwon do tomorrow. It's always busy around here.
