My Little Monkeys

Today after visiting my dad in the hospital we decided to do McDonald's for lunch. Little Sis is the pickiest eater alive, but she will devour a McD's cheeseburger (with only ketchup on it). The Happy Meal toys were from The Littlest Petshop. Both girls got the chimpanzee and loved them. They would not stop playing with them, and made me take many, many photos of their monkeys throughout the house.

McD's has the best toys. If you are a parent, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Wendy's toys are not very good. A few weeks ago we were at Wendy's and they gave Little Sis (age 2) a game for the computer. I mean, Little Sis is smart and all, but she's not quite ready to navigate a mouse and start downloading. I asked if they had any toys for kids under age 3 and they said that the computer disc was all they had. Little Sis was NOT pleased!

Burger King toys are ok too. The worst kids meal toys are Arby's. The last time we were there they gave us a couple pieces of cardboard that you were supposed to fold into a game. None of us could figure it out, not even the adults.

We don't eat fast food much, but a good kids meal toy can make all the difference between a pleasant meal and a hissy fit.
