Little Sis gets a haircut

Last week Little Sis got her first real haircut. I was trying to let her bangs grow out long, but her hair is very, very thin and wispy and it was looking pretty bad. So I caved in and took her to Borics with Big Sis. Once there, Little Sis freaked out and was crying hysterically. I was worried that we would have to leave. Big Sis, always with best intentions, tried to calm Little Sis down by telling her, "Don't worry, they won't cut your ears!" As you can imagine, this only made Little Sis that much more upset.

By the time it was our turn in the chair, Little Sis was much calmer. She sat on my lap the entire time and liked the animal-print cape they draped on her. Ten minutes later we were done and she was all smiles and giggles. As I was paying at the register, she turned to the stylist, threw both hands up in the air and proclaimed, "I did it!"

Her hair really does look cute. Here are some photos taken today. Her sides are pulled up into pigtails, but you can see that now she has bangs, as opposed to long, wispy pieces hanging in her eyes.
