Last night my mom commented that I haven't updated my blog in awhile (thanks, mom...I know!). We've been in constant motion here, and while I do have many many photos to share, I don't have time to post them right now.
I have just a few free minutes so I thought I'd at least update.
My father has his surgery in two days to remove the tumor. I haven't discussed the situation much, because every time I try to talk about it I want to cry. Back in February my father was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. He has done chemo and radiation. His surgery is Thursday July 3rd and he will be in the hospital at least a week. After the surgery he will still need to have more chemo. His first round of chemo was horrible. He lost a lot of weight, was dehydrated, weak, nauteous- the whole nine yards. I don't know what to expect with this surgery. Big Sis knows he is sick and going to the hospital, but that is all we've told her.
Little Sis got her first real haircut last night. I have a funny story about that as well as some photos to share...in a few days when I have more time.
Well, my time's up. Again, I'll post some photos as soon as I can (or else I'll never hear the end of it from Mom).
