Today when I picked Big Sis up from preschool, her teacher told me that she was talking about China a lot today and how mommy and daddy flew to China to bring her and Little Sis home.
She is really starting to question her heritage and I think now is the time to start telling her about her adoption and how she grew in another mommy's tummy in China. I admit that I am really, really dreading this discussion, but her story is important and the earlier she understands it, the more she can process it. But it breaks my heart to think of Big Sis' birthmother, so I can't fathom how it will affect Big Sis.
I am just so scared and nervous about all of this....I'll keep y'all updated.
