Happy Gotcha Day!

Today marks our one year anniversary of Little Sis' "Gotcha Day," which means one year ago she was placed in our arms in Changsha, Hunan. I'm not too keen on the term "Gotcha Day" so we refer to it as "Family Day." Because Big Sis has tae kwon do tonight, we're celebrating Family Day tomorrow evening at Olive Garden.

I'm taking Little Sis to the doctor tomorrow. I fear that she has yet another ear infection (she had one a few weeks ago). She's been extra fussy and tugging at both ears, plus diarrhea.

I tried to get a nice photo of Little Sis on her Family Day, but she had a meltdown so this is as good as it gets, folks.....

Major meltdown because she wanted her Elmo blanket....

Once she has her blanket, all is good in the world...

Getting sleepy (fingers in the mouth)

Climbing down the stairs...

Happy "family day". Hard to believe it's been a year already. Sophie has grown so much, mentally and physically. Bet a year ago you did not anticipate that she would potty train herself before age two. She's a smarty and catches on so quickly. Of course having a Big Sis to show her the ropes helps a lot.
