Monday

Today the weather was like spring- warm and rainy. The girls and I went to the library for their Preschool Storytime. This week the theme was spaceships and outer space. After th e library we ate lunch and Little Sis napped. Big Sis claimed she wasn't tired and stayed up. By 4 pm Big Sis was hyped up and driving me crazy. It was at this time that I discovered that the water in all 3 toilets was yellow and smelled weird. I called the local water softener place and he said that probably the city was flushing some lines and that the water is safe to drink. No thank you! A couple hours later and after flushing the toilet a gazillion times, the water is back to clear.

Speaking of toilets...Little Sis went pee-pee in the potty twice today!!!!

And speaking of Little Sis, tomorrow she starts daycare 2 days a week. She was in daycare June to September when I was working full-time but she was in the infant room. Now she'll be in the "Nemo Room" which is 1.5-2.5 year olds. I am worried about tomorrow. I know she will pitch a fit and cry hysterically. I'm also worried about a kid in her new class named Andrew. A few weeks ago I took Little Sis to the Nemo Room and showed her around. This Andrew kid kept running up to her and tugging on her legs (I was holding her). Little Sis naturally screamed. The teacher told him to stop but he kept coming up to her and tugging on her. I finally told him in a stern voice, "Stop touching her!"

I voiced my concern to the director and she said that he no longer bites. What the &^%$???? She said, "Now he only hits." Tomorrow I am going to have a talk with both the teacher and the director. I am going to tell the teacher to keep an extra eye on Little Sis and Andrew. And I am going to tell the director that if Andrew is hitting/biting other children on a regular basis he needs to terminated from their facility. Crap, one more thing to deal with! I really hope this Andrew is not an issue, but I'll be keeping a close eye on things.
