Today Daddy worked and I took the girls to Goodwill. Big Sis had saved $5 of her allowance and was anxious to spend it. There weren't many good toys to chose from but she ended up buying a shovel for her sandbox (her old one broke). I found two Elmo books for Little Sis.
After Goodwill we went to the library. Big Sis got some Dora dvds, Little Sis got an Elmo dvd (of course) and I got 2 People magazines. Little Sis ate a lot at lunch, which was encouraging. She is tiny but I need to stop stressing over it. I think she will just always be petite. I read somewhere that a lot of the Hunan girls (where Little Sis is from) are usually only 5' tall as adults.
After our nap I took the girls into the basement. We have two plastic slides down there and both Big Sis and Little Sis love going down the slides. We also have a school desk, tricycles, sit and spin, and many other toys for them to play with.
Big Sis drew these pictures. The first one is a rainbow.

This one is what she calls "a happy monster."

And this one is Elmo. She wrote his name and dedicated it to Little Sis.
