The first day of 2008

Well, Daddy and I stayed up until midnight. Big Sis stayed up until 11:55. When it turned midnight I wished her a happy new year, only to realize she had fallen asleep! Little Sis decided to wake up at 1:30, fully awake and ready to play. Daddy let me sleep. He said that Little Sis walked over to the tv and turned it on at 2 a.m., wanting to watch more Elmo. I hope she sleeps tonight. Neither one of us is in the mood to deal with early morning playfulness.

It was bitterly cold here today and you could hear the wind howling outside. Big Sis decided to wear her new Dora ballerina dress.

Little Sis is not feeling well, I think. She has been majorly fussy and not eating or drinking much. I did learn something new tonight....she will eat almost anything if it's smothered in butter!

Big Sis has school tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. It's difficult having 2 kids home with me, all day. I'm down to 121 pounds from chasing them around. Our friends who own the Chinese restaurant told me tonight that I'm getting to skinny and that Daddy needs to feed me. Ha!
