...and I still have so much to do!
None of the presents are wrapped. Yesterday Kylie discovered the large Barbie townhouse that we bought. It was supposed to be a gift to both Kylie and Sophie from Santa. It was in the basement with a blanket covering it. Well, one of the workers (Butch? Dave?) must have taken it off. Kylie told me about it. She thinks it's Sophie's gift, since Sophie specifically asked for Barbie dolls for Christmas. So, I suppose the Barbie house will now be just for Sophie, from Steve and me. I guess that works out ok, since I ended up buying Kylie several Wii games that Sophie won't play with.
Steve wants to know what to get me for Christmas. There's nothing I really want right now. The basement is a gift, but he wants to buy me something tangible. I don't need or want jewelry. I would like some work clothes but I'd have to try them on. I'd also like a pair of nice leather boots, but most of the stores have already sold out in my size (8). Maybe some evening this week I can go out to the stores and shop for clothes.
The basement is almost done! I can hardly believe it. The granite is in, the carpet is in. The painter is here this week finishing up. The only things left are the desk cabinets which were back-ordered, hanging the artwork and mounting the televisions on the walls.
