Memorial Day Picnic

For Memorial Day we went to the local park and packed a picnic lunch. Kylie and Sophie were excited about the picnic and told me what to pack. We had sandwiches, potato chips, carrot sticks, fresh pineapple chunks, juice boxes and Rice Krispie treats for dessert.

The park has a water park and luckily we got there early and claimed one of the only areas covered by a large umbrella. We invited our friends and we had fun. After the water park we went on a paddleboat, and then did face-painting and crafts. A very enjoyable day.

(That's a bandaid on Sophie's forehead. She got a bugbite and scratched it, causing it to bleed. )
