We were surprised to wake up to snow this morning. We had plans with Lili and her mom to take the girls to a dramakinetics class at 10 a.m. Lili's mom had planned it and there were 12 other Chinese girls (the same age as Kylie & Lili) signed up for it. Lili and her mom rode with us in my minivan. The roads were icy. We saw 4 wrecks on the highway. The class was held at a school on the top of a long, steep driveway. My poor minivan couldn't get up the hill, so we parked at the base of the driveway and trudged up the hill. When we got to the school at the top of the hill we learned that they cancelled the class due to snow! The morning wasn't a total waste, though, as Kylie & Lili loved playing in the snow on the way up the hill.
Sophie wore snow boots for the first time today. She loved her pink snow boots and didn't want to take them off. Later that day Kylie and Sophie posed in their boots (without their pants for unknown reasons) and danced around the house to Christmas music.
It's never quiet at our house!
