And even more snow...

We have gotten even more snow. School was cancelled yesterday due to snow. I started out to work, got halfway there and my boss called telling us to turn around and go home- she was closing the office. The girls were thrilled as this meant they didn't have to go to daycare. Instead we bundled up and played in the snow. I'm not sure how long we stayed outside; it felt like a long time to me but in reality it was maybe 15 minutes.

After coming inside we played board games, made some crafts and had lunch. They were wound up and did not take a nap. I, on the other hand, was exhausted! Since they didn't nap they ended up they became fussy. Luckily they fell asleep early. Kylie fell asleep on the couch during American Idol.

Last night another snow storm hit and today school was cancelled for the second day in a row. Again, we played in the snow but not for very long. The wind was strong and blowing snow in our faces, and the snow was so deep it came up to my knees. We sled down the hill a few times, threw some snowballs, and came inside. This time they actually did take a nap after lunch, and so did I. We all needed a nap. After naptime Sophie watched cartoons while Kylie painted a valentine card for Steve.

The roads have been plowed and looked better, so tomorrow it's back to work for me and back to school for the girls.
