104....

That's what Kylie's temperature is...104. She's laying on the couch with a popsicle watching The Powerpuff Girls.

She was fine this morning when we went to church. I, on the other hand, was feeling achy and hot but my temperature was normal. After church we went out to lunch and to visit our old neighbor Lulu and towards the end she said she was tired. We went home to nap. Before nap she felt warm and I took her temperature and it was 101. I gave her some Motrin and she slept a couple hours. When she woke up she watched a movie with me and I noticed she felt hot again. Her temperature was 104.3! I gave her more Motrin and it went down to 104.

I called my boss and told her I wouldn't be in tomorrow. Luckily she has 3 children and understands that family comes first.

I'm off to the store to buy more Motrin.
