Back from Myrtle Beach

Monday night we arrived home from our 5-day trip to Myrtle Beach. It was a great trip, and one of the best vacations I've had. It was the girls' first real vacation and our first vacation as a family and everyone had a blast. The resort we stayed at was perfect for kids, with a hug indoor water park, several pools inside and outside, games, and our room overlooked the beach. It was the perfect trip, the only thing I'd change is that we wouldn't fly next time. We had a horrible experience flying both to and from Myrtle Beach.

We went to the waterpark and the ocean every day. We collected shells on the beach and brought them home. They have two great outlet malls within 10 miles of our place so we went shopping one day. There are also a ton of adventure golf places and we played golf two days. We went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum (which in my opinion is a total rip-off and disappointment) and went to an amusement park where Kylie bungee-jumped.

So much fun! And now we're home, back to reality and Kylie starts Kindergarten this Monday.

Glad you had a great trip (minus the flights to/from). We went to Myrtle Beach a few times as a family when I was a child, and that's one of my memories of that place - LOTS of mini golf! :-)
