It's 5 a.m. Saturday morning and I can't sleep, so I thought I'd use this time to update my blog. The reason I can't sleep is because my dad and stepmom are sleeping in our master bedroom, so I was in Kylie's bedroom with her. Kylie's bedroom is the only bedroom that doesn't have a ceiling fan. The ceiling is slanted in such a way that you can't put up a fan. I woke up around 4, hot and couldn't fall back to sleep. That, plus I have a sore throat that produces a tickle in my throat.
My Dad and stepmom came in yesterday for Kylie's preschool graduation. I'll talk more about the graduation in another post. After graduation we ate at Larosa's and then saw the movie "Up." I really liked the movie. It was a strange movie, but interesting and sad and funny and happy. Sophie did great during the movie. Kylie said she didn't like it, because there were some scary parts. There was a scary rottweiler dog and it frightened her.
Today is Saturday and we don't have any plans. Steve works on Saturday. I may take the girls to the library. I have some books to return plus I need to run to the grocery store for milk and watermelon. I bought a whole watermelon a couple weeks ago and all of us love watermelon so it didn't last long.

Congratulations to Kylie! I can't believe she's already old enough for Kindergarten! I remember you writing on MK's db prior to going over to get her. Time flies.... That's awesome that your dad & stepmom could come for her special day. Did he get his test results yet? We have "Up" in our Netflix queue, glad to hear you liked it! Bummer your dh has to work on Saturdays. My dh used to work on Saturdays also and that used to bug me. Does your dh get another day off or does he work 6 days a week?
