I can't post any photos since I'm writing this at work.

The house is coming along great. The painter has almost finished. The running joke is that his nickname is now Eldin, a character from the Murphy Brown show. Elden was the painter who spent 6 seasons painting Murphy Brown's home. So far our painter has been painting our house for over 2 months, off and on. He only has a few more touch-ups to do.

The only other things left to do on the house are minor things, like constructing a rail for the garage steps for Sophie to hold onto, putting on door stoppers, etc. Over the weekend I finally got around to hanging some paintings and mirrors.

It's strange how I no longer miss the old house. This time last month I really missed the old house and worried that we had made a mistake moving. The other day when we visited Lulu we drove past the old house and I felt nothing. I just love the new house so much now.
