I haven't taken any photos lately, been too busy with the whole house thing.

In less than 2 weeks we will be moved into our new house. It's difficult to imagine. Right now the house looks like a tornado blew in. There are tools everywhere, boxes, materials, not to mention the rooms with the carpet ripped out.

The granite guy is supposed to install the granite on Thursday. I say "supposed to" because one thing I've learned is that 99% of contractors are not the most reliable people. They kind of just show up when they decide to. Our painter said he would start painting Monday. Well, Monday night we go to the house and we see he dropped off his painting supplies, but no paint on the walls yet. Last night we go to the house and still no painting. He has plenty to paint, and in a short time, so he needs to get moving on this.

The floor on the girls' bathroom has been grouted. I think the next step in that room is to install the toilet, the vanity, lights and towel racks, and then it should be done.

The master bathroom needs the wall sconces put up, and then that room will be done.

The poor master bedroom needs the walls skimmed and painted, and the carpet installed. Master bedroom closet also needs paint and carpet.

Sophie's room needs to be painted and needs carpet. Kylie's room only needs paint.

Kitchen needs granite counters, all appliances (which will be delivered February 20th), and painting.

Living room needs painting. The banister leading down to the basement needs to be painted.

And all of this needs to be done in less than two weeks. Sure....
