Instead we (me, the girls, Lili and her mom) went to the mall so the girls could ride the train...again. This will be the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks that they've been on this train, but at $1 per kid for a 5 minute ride, it's worth it. This time they rode it twice. The second time Sophie wanted to sit all by herself in the front car so she could ring the bell. I was surprised that she didn't cry; normally she doesn't want to do anything without Kylie and Lili.
Lili's mom and I also went shopping at The Children's Place. They were having a sale (aren't they always?), and they had an additional 50% off clearance stuff. Plus I had a coupon for another 15% off. I spent $63 but got several sweaters, a skirt, two purses and a bunch of shirts for both Kylie and Sophie.
The mall also had an "enchanted forest" playground inside complete with a mechanical tree (branches moved and the tree's eyes opened and shut....actually a little scary-looking), horse and slide.
