Kylie's Christmas List

Tonight Kylie wrote out her list to Santa. Can you read all of it? It reads "dollhouse, doll (American Girl doll, to be exact), Kung Fu Panda (dvd), Pirate game (Pirates of the Caribbean game for her Nintendo ds), and a turtle. She added turtle to her list simply because that's all Sophie really wants.

What's funny is that Kylie is getting everything on her list, except for the turtle. My dad is getting her the dollhouse, Steve's parents bought her an American Girl doll, we bought her the Kung Fu Panda dvd and the Pirates of the Caribbean game.

This will be the best Christmas thus far. Not because of all the presents; that's just "stuff." This will be the best Christmas because this is the first time Kylie actually understands the meaning behind Christmas. The other day she asked me if she could buy baby Jesus a present for his birthday. She dances in the living room as she sings "Oh Christmas Tree" and "Good King Wincesles."

This will also be an exciting Christmas for Sophie. Last year she was just a year and a half old and didn't understand anything about the season. This year she talks about Santa Claus and Christmas.

I am so excited I can hardly wait until Christmas morning!

P.S. Kylie did a great job writing out her list, don't you think? Her handwriting has really improved.
