I'm not sure why, but lately I've been so bored. Perhaps I'm just tired of summer. I love the fall season and am anxious for it to be a little cooler.
What I really want is a vacation. I know, being a stay-at-home mom is kinda like a vacation (from a typical 9-5 job, that is), but I just want to get out of this house for awhile, out of this city. And not a visit to see family, either. I want to go to a beach, with a pool, and see the ocean. Jamaica would do nicely, except that it's not in our budget and we don't have passports for the girls.
Tonight Steve is taking Kylie to a Cincinnati Reds game. I suggested that we invite Kylie's friend Lili and her dad, so they'll be joining them. Me, I get to stay home with Sophie while they're at the game.
Did I mention that I'm bored???

I would not consider being a SAHM as being on "vacation" by any means! Not that it's not a wonderful "career" but it's definitely not like being on vacation. That's a good reminder to me that I should apply for a passport for Nadia so we can go sometime. Maybe you could get away for at least a long weekend???
Oh and I have to thank you for the tip on using the Spray & Wash stain stick. That is the BEST for getting poop stains off of clothes. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
