It's been almost a week since I updated my blog. One of my pet peeves is people who have blogs who don't keep them updated, and now I've become one of those annoying people. I'm sorry. Life has gotten in the way. Tae kwon do lessons, storytime at the library, going to the local park to feed the ducks, mowing the grass and walking on the treadmill. That's what's been going on (not in that order).
Last night we went to another festival, this time a local one at a Catholic church. Big Sis enjoyed blue cotton candy, going in an inflatable moon bounce, and her first ride. It was a swing that went around and around. She went on the ride all by herself, I was really proud of her.
Another first...Big Sis took her first shower yesterday. At almost 5 years old, she's always taken baths because she has a fear of getting water in her eyes. Last night before bath time she said she'd like to take a shower. I was in the shower with her and gave her a washcloth to put over her eyes. She did great and even let me wash her hair in the shower. She was so proud of herself that she wanted to call Nai Nai and Papa Paul to tell them, but it was almost 10 pm and I knew they'd be sleeping.

After reading your comment on my blog (thanks for that, by the way), I decided to check yours out...It's really good. Your girls are way cute and you seem to be a very "real" mom. I love that you tell your husband when he's on duty. (Probably because I'm the same way).I'm glad I found this...I'll be back! -Robyn
