"Strawbabies" and flying potatoes

No photos today...I've been lazy.

I've had a craving for strawberries lately. I bought 2 pounds yesterday and made strawberry shortcake. Little Sis had never eaten a strawberry before. She saw me eating them, walked over and grabbed them off my plate. She loved them. I was afraid she'd get ill from eating so many of them. She calls them "strawbabies."

Yesterday, when I picked up Big Sis from preschool, all the kids were in the hallway. They had a tornado drill. As soon as Big Sis saw me, she came running down the hall, excited and shouted, "Hey Mom, today we had a potato drill!" Her teacher heard this and cracked up. I heard her teacher telling all the other teachers. I can just picture potatoes flying about while Big Sis is crouched in the basement.
