Busy Weekend...

It's been a busy weekend for us. Friday morning Big Sis' friend LiLi came to our house to play. The girls had a blast. They changed into Big Sis' ballet outfits and pranced around to the Barbie 12 Dancing Princesses dvd. Then the played with the tool bench, as shown in the photos. LiLi and her parents go to our church. The girls get along great and are only a few months apart in age.

That night Big Sis got her yellow belt, as I described in the previous post. My mother-in-law and father-in-law came in Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with us.

Saturday Hubby's brother and his two kids arrived to also spend the weekend with us. Even though the sun was out, unfortunately the ground was too soggy to play on our swingset, so they all went bowling. I stayed back at the house because Little Sis was napping. We ate pizza and cake for dinner. The three girls (Big Sis, Little Sis and their cousin Maddie) all took a bath together in my large garden tub. All four cousins get along great. Big Sis was sad to see them leave this morning.

Today was a beautiful day, warm and sunny, so we spent most of it outdoors. A bunch of the neighborhood kids came over and played on our swingset. At one point we had nine kids out with us. We ate a late dinner and Little Sis ate her first corn-on-the-cob. At first she was a little hesitant but then she dug in and ate.
