Then it turned BLOND...

And then it turned BROWN and was LONG (note: my mother always kept my hair short when I was little because she said I looked cute, like a PIXIE [more like a BOY!!] but it looks like I had long hair for a little while by the looks of this photo...). Nice linoleum, Mom! Oh well, it was the '70s.

The BOWL cut (ewwwww!). No wonder I'm not smiling.

BLACK hair! My senior photo. All grown-ups hated my black hair, which is probably why I loved it so much. I dyed it myself at home with permanent dye. It took forever to grow the color out. I still love this photo.

BIG HAIR! Back in 1991 my grandmother took me to Glamour Shots "because we only have ugly photos of you." Yes, she really said that. Two hours after entering Glamour Shots my hair was fully shellacked and had the hardness of a football helmut. They put more make-up on me than most prostitutes wear. I'm smiling on the outside, but....

LOL! I also had blonde hair as a young child but it turned bown by the time I was in upper elementary school. And I had a perm for awhile also back around 1991 and my hair is super thick also. I never did a glamour shot though, LOL. I love that last photo!!!!! Hope your new camera comes in soon. It seems it should have been here already????
OK, just a few things to set you straight. The first picture of the baby on Grandma Amy's sofa is not you, it's your sister. Second. the wallpaper that you made fun of that was in the maser bedroom was put up by your father and I and it took all weekend. It was a royal pain to hang and it's a wonder we didn't kill each other. Third, I DO NOT HAVE THE SAME HAIRSTYLE NOW!
Thanks for posting the pictures, they brought back a lot of happy memories. I love you. Erp.
mom
Ok Mom, maybe the first photo of Lisa, but you told me it was me (which is the only reason why I kept the photo!).
2nd of all, no one put a gun to your head and forced you to hang that hideous wallpaper.
And third...YES do have the same hairstyle, just lighter in color:)
Listen to me young lady. No more nasty remarks about my hair or I will ground you for the weekend!
