I am so ready for Spring....

The older I get, the less I can tolerate extreme temps. Last summer it was in the high 90s for most of the summer and I went crazy. And this winter has been so cold. Today it was only 10 degrees. It felt even colder because of the wind. Hubby tried to start his parents' SUV (they left it parked at our house while they are in Jamaica), and the battery is dead.

So, it was another cold day. I promised the girls I would take them to Chuck E. Cheese, so I had to honor my word and do it. I really wanted to stay home and be a couch potato, but children who are promised Chuck E. Cheese do not forget! I bundled both of them up and we went to Chuck E. Cheese. After Chuck E's we went to Target, then home for lunch, then a long nap. It felt so good to sleep.

Tonight Big Sis had Tae Kwon Do so again I bundled them up and we braved the cold.

The girls had a bath and are going to bed in 5 minutes. Then I can crash. Something about this cold weather makes me extra sleepy....

I'm with you there with the exception that I have never liked the extreme temps even as a child! Spring and fall are my favorite seasons for that very reason although they are also very pretty seasons too with the blossoms and flowers in the spring and the leaves changing colors in the fall. It's been really cold lately I think even the 40's would seem warm right about now, LOL!
