Merry Christmas!

Christmas day began at 2 a.m. when Little Sis woke up, hyper and ready to play and refusing to go back to sleep. I changed her diaper and tried giving her a bottle but she wanted none of it. Each time I tried to put her back in her crib she shrieked and I was afraid she would wake everyone up, so I sat up with her until 5 a.m. Daddy then stayed up with Little Sis until 6 a.m.

Big Sis woke up at 8 a.m., ready to see what Santa brought her. We let Little Sis and Daddy sleep in. Big Sis shrieked with joy when she unwrapped her American Girl Bitty Baby and her Baby Alive. She also loved the antique crib that Nai Nai and Grandpa gave her and immediately put her new babies in it to sleep. Nai Nai sewed a new mattress, blanket and pillow for the crib. It's really nice.

Daddy and Little Sis emerged around 11 and we sat down to breakfast. It was good but very filling. Little Sis got an Elmo dancing chicken, Elmo remote control, Elmo keys and Elmo driving set. Can you tell she loves Elmo? She loved all of it.

I finally crashed around 3 p.m. for a couple hours, showered, and cleaned up the wrapping paper.

This has been the best Christmas ever. This time last year I was wondering when we would ever get the referral for Little Sis. And now we have Little Sis and Big Sis and our family is complete. Merry Christmas!
