Gingerbread House
After lunch the girls were impatient to make the gingerbread house. This was the first time I've ever bought one. Before having kids, I thought they were kinda foolish but we had so much fun putting it together and decorating it. All 3 of us tasted the white icing, which acts like the glue. Yuck, it tasted bad. But the rest of the candy on the house was pretty good, and the gingerbread smelled good.

Glad the girls had fun in the snow. Maybe you'll have a white Christmas? I am sure others near you made snowmen, but I doubt many or any others made snow turtles. My niece in Chicago always makes a snow dinosaur of some sort. :-) Your gingerbread house looks great. I will enjoy doing that with Nadia some day....
Your gingerbread house turned out really nice. I always wanted to make one when you and your sister were little, but never did. I'm so glad you made one with your girls.
